Throughout the 1980's, and the winding down of the "Cold War", he served as an award winning member of the United States Navy, maintaining and deploying "next generation" MASINT Acoustic Signal Processing and Secure Communications equipment.
Upon leaving the armed services, his technical focus shifted to designing, building and deploying award winning Command Control and Communications (C3I) systems used during the first Gulf War.

While at Oracle's National Security Group, he designed and deployed complex Enterprise Identity and Access Management solutions for numerous members of the Intelligence Community, Department of Defense, and Federal government.
Following his career with Oracle he was awarded a National Intelligence Meritorious Unit Award by the Director of National Intelligence (General James R. Clapper) in October of 2011 for work for a system designed for the The Defence Intelligence Agency.
